2 Our approach to consent
We follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. Strictly necessary technologies may be used without consent where they are required for a service you have requested, including login sessions, session security, CSRF protection, load balancing, remembering cookie choices, essential offline synchronisation and core functionality.
Non-essential technologies are used only with consent. Consent must be a clear affirmative action and is never inferred from continued browsing, silence, pre-ticked boxes or acceptance of policies.
Our consent mechanism must provide separate, granular choices; an Accept all option; an equally prominent Reject all option; customisation; clear provider and purpose information; and withdrawal at any time. We keep records of consent, including the choice, time, mechanism and relevant notice, for [Consent record retention period].

5 How to manage and delete cookies
Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer to open the preference centre. You can save granular choices, Accept all or Reject all optional categories. You can also use your browser controls to view, block or delete cookies and local storage.
You may withdraw consent at any time through the preference centre. Blocking strictly necessary cookies or storage may prevent login, offline synchronisation and core functionality from working.
6 Do Not Track and browser privacy signals
A Do Not Track signal is not treated as consent. We will assess relevant browser privacy signals and document how they are handled before activating any non-essential technology. [Implementation placeholder: confirm whether and how browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control, are detected and honoured.]
7 Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers, law or our services change. The current version will show its last updated date. Where a change requires consent, the preference centre will be updated before the technology is activated.
